History
Veolia Powerline Kaczyce was founded on 12 November 2007. Moving under the Veolia flagship in 2015, the company changed its name to Veolia Powerline Kaczyce.
It launched its operations in electricity distribution and sales on 1 April 2009 under the name NWR Energetyka PL after NWR Karbonia’s assets and licences and a permit granted by the Energy Authority were transferred to it.
In connection with the above restructuring, the company dates the launch of its business back to around 2000 when it operated in the energy sector under the name Karbonia PL.
Until 21 June 2010, the company was part of the Amsterdam-based New World Resources N.V. group and was wholly owned by NWR Energy.
On 22 June 2010 the New World Resources N.V. group sold its subsidiary NWR Energy to Dalkia Česká republika. NWR Energy subsequently changed its name to Dalkia Industry CZ and on 12 August 2010 NWR Energetyka PL was renamed to Dalkia Powerline.
